The finance secretary has announced up to half a billion pounds of spending cuts to ensure the Scottish Government can balance its budget.
Robinson said the pressure is due to higher public sector pay deals and Westminster austerity.
Opposition parties are accusing government ministers of trying to pass the buck by laying the blame with the UK Government.
And Scotland’s independent Scottish Fiscal Commission has said the Scottish Government was to blame for “much of the pressure” on the nation’s finances.
