FM: We’re scrapping the two-child cap because Westminster failed to act

The First Minister says his Government is scrapping the two child benefit cap because the UK Labour Government failed to take action.

John Swinney says the measures announced in the budget yesterday are critical to his goal of eradicating child poverty.

However, the Scottish Labour Leader claims the Scottish Government’s spending plans do not allocate a penny towards ending the cap.
