Fraudster ordered to repay £95,000 stolen from charities

Lawyers have now stuck a deal that gives McCallum until next March to return the cash.

“It’s justice for our charities, but it doesn’t compensate for hurt and betrayal”.

These were the words of a fundraiser after she learned that her former best friend, who deceived her for a decade, had three months to pay back every penny she stole.

Lindsay McCallum is serving a three-year jail term after admitting to embezzling £95,000 from Rainbow Valley and the Anthony Nolan Trust.
