Glasgow in talks with Westminster over VAT cuts to save heritage buildings

The city is facing challenges when it comes to maintaining and restoring some of those historic works.

But it’s also a city that faces challenges when it comes to maintaining and restoring some of those historic works.

Now the council says it has held constructive talks with the UK Government about changes to VAT rates to encourage developers to renovate rather than rebuild.
