Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre bough over by global firm

It had been facing an uncertain future after a sale fell through in January

Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre has been bought over by a global group which owns sites in London and Sydney.

The venue, which has been in the city’s Renfield Street for 119 years, has been acquired by Trafalgar Entertainment.

The new owners say they’ll preserve the Pavilion’s reputation for affordable live entertainment.
