Grangemouth workers protest outside Holyrood over closure plans

Today Unite brought its fight for jobs to Edinburgh, next week London.

Grangemouth workers are calling on politicians to help fight to save their jobs.

Unite wants the government to step in and cover the refinery’s losses until it can be converted into a biofuel plant.

But PetroIneos says they haven’t heard anything from the government.

Unite general secretary Sharon Graham raised it with the First Minister today and will raise it with the Prime Minister next week.
