The health secretary has said he will continue to support NHS Grampian, but that the health board must get its finances under control as soon as possible.
It comes after STV News revealed on Tuesday that NHS Grampian had been given more than £67m in a funding loan from the Scottish Government as the financial crisis at the health board continues.
Another £39m of savings have now been earmarked for this year.
