Guide Dogs Scotland is marking 60 years since the opening of its first Scottish training centre in Forfar.

Launched in 1965, the centre meant people with sight loss no longer had to travel to England for a guide dog.

Since then, thousands of life-changing partnerships have been made.

It’s a charity at the heart of the community, with local volunteers playing a pivotal role.
