Higher education jobs at risk after Government U-turn

Money confirmed in last budget has now been classed as a necessary saving by the Government

As many as 75 jobs are at risk of compulsory redundancy at City of Glasgow College after a Scottish Government U-turn over £46 million worth funding for colleges and universities.

Unions say the details of the job cuts are flimsy.
