Inflation rises to 2.6% ahead of festive period

It comes as the Bank of England will decide tomorrow if it'll maintain or cut interest rates.

Inflation has hit its highest level since March with just a week to go until Christmas.

The cost of goods and services increased to 2.6% last month, driven by fuel prices.
