It’s seven years later than planned and millions and millions of pounds over budget but the Glen Sannox is finally sailing.
Having started its first full day of service from Troon on Monday, she’s expected to have carried more than 1,000 passengers by the end of the day.
The journeys on Monday may have been smooth but it has been far from plain sailing to get the vessel completed.
