Milestone reached in rebuilding of historic Crannog site

Thousands of years ago, scores of stilted dwelling houses would have been found on Loch Tay.

A new milestone has been reached during building works to restore a fire-damaged Crannog on the banks of Loch Tay.

The first piles for the new structure are being installed, marking the return of the replica ancient dwelling, which burnt to a shell three years ago.
