Farming leaders say more recognition is needed for the work the sector is doing to produce sustainable food and improve the environment.
The Scottish National Farmers Union is meeting in Edinburgh today for its autumn conference, and have called for increased support from the government.
Ministers say agriculture plays a key role in providing food security and that they’ll continue to listen to the sector.
