MSPs prepare for free vote on assisted dying legislation

It will be the third time the issue has been voted on in Holyrood.

In the coming weeks, the Scottish Parliament will decide if it backs plans to allow people to have an assisted death.

The bill, brought forward by Liberal Democrat Liam McArthur, will be the third time the issue has been voted on in Holyrood.

But, unlike previous occasions, the outcome is tough to call.

The balance of the power could hang on the decision of as little as ten to 20 MSPs, who are currently undecided.

STV News has been speaking to some who are weighing up the decision.
