National Care Service plans delayed once again

The Health Secretary says the Scottish Government is looking to compromise on areas of concern

Controversial plans to introduce a National Care Service have been delayed once again.

The first vote by MSPs on the legislation will be pushed beyond June, according to a letter from the minister responsible.

Michael Matheson also reaffirmed a commitment to guarantee access to care homes for family members or friends as part of the Bill.
