New £48m eye and orthopaedic centre opens in Inverness

At a time when recruitment has been difficult the centre has filled almost two hundred posts

A new £48 million treatment centre for eye and orthopaedic operations has opened to its first patients this morning.

The National Treatment Centre in Inverness is the first of its kind in Scotland, and is designed to tackle patient waiting times.
