A brand new trail of cat sculptures that’s popped up in and around Kirkcaldy is proving a huge hit with locals and tourists.
It’s a nod to well-known local pottery, Wemyss Ware, which is regarded as Scotland’s most famous pottery brand.
Originating in Kirkcaldy in the late 1800’s, it became a highly sought-after item, whose collectors are said to include the King and Elton John.
The trail has been organised by a local heritage group in a bid to raise money for community projects, with the cats on display until September before they’re then auctioned off.
