Workers in the service industry can now receive 100% of their tips and service charges as a new law comes into effect, banning business owners from keeping the cash.
Employees working in hospitality, tourism and the beauty industry can legally challenge their employer and get up to £5,000 worth of compensation if bosses refuse to give them their tips within a month.
