A new mural celebrating the people of Leith and what the area means to them, has been unveiled in Edinburgh.
The bright and vibrant artwork is the result of work by graffiti artists in collaboration with local charities, including The Edinburgh Remakery, who hosted workshops to allow the community to have a say in what was depicted.
Artist Ross MacRae was tasked with taking the contributions from the groups, and putting spray can to canvas.
It’s hoped the mural will provide a talking point and raise awareness of the history of the area, and what it has to offer, whilst providing a colourful backdrop.
