NHS nurses set to strike in first for the health service

Nurses voted overwhelmingly for industrial action over pay and patient safety concerns

Nurses are going on strike. Members of the UK’s largest nursing union voted overwhelmingly to walk out over an ongoing dispute around pay and conditions.

The Royal College of Nursing insists emergency care won’t be affected, but it will likely see disruption to operations and appointments.
