Number of rehomed animals has trebled in a year says SSPCA

They're now donating essentials to food banks with concerns that some people are feeding their pets before themselves

The SSPCA say rescue centres are at capacity across the country as owners struggle to look after their pets.

The charity say the number of animals being rehomed has trebled compared to last year.
