Passport office begin strikes over pay dispute

More than 1,000 members of the Public and Commercial Services union have walked out

Passport office workers have begun five weeks of industrial action in an dispute over pay and conditions.

Day one of the strike has seen a surge in demand as delays to passport renewals are expected ahead of summer.
