For almost two decades, Professor Sam Eljamel worked as a neurosurgeon for NHS Tayside in Dundee.
For years, there had been complaints about his ability to do his job and reports of botched operations.
Last week, a public inquiry was launched into the surgeon’s work, with over 200 people saying that their lives were permanently changed.
