For more than 20 years it’s brought the stirring sights and sounds of Scotland’s national instrument to the streets of Glasgow.
The Piping Live festival has returned to the city with a programme of 150 events over the coming week.
Formal celebrations got under way today, in true piper style, with hundreds of musicians marching through the West End in a big band performance.
