There were no rousing words of optimism from the new Prime Minister today, more realism perhaps, a matter of fact appeal to the country. To give him and opportunity to restore trust and stability after a wounding few months for his party.
His cabinet is well underway a cabinet which, I suppose, is trying to reach across a divided party.
Dominic Raab returns as Deputy Prime Minister – Jeremy Hunt stays as Chancellor – Michael Gove is making a return.
