Experts say half of the fish in the area have disappeared in the past 5 years

Fishery protection officers are patrolling the River Dee on a Jet Ski to prevent seals from endangering salmon numbers.

The sector pumps a lucrative £15 million into the local economy. But there are fears the drop in salmon numbers could lead to their extinction.
