A mental health ‘pod’ for children has opened at Leith Walk Primary School to support the mental health of young people.
Designed by the children themselves, they say the cabin will help provide a calm space for both them and their classmates in challenging times.
This cabin was built with support from Tiny Changes, a mental health charity who has been working at the school over the last year.
The charity says children are facing real challenges, including the cost of living crisis and poverty, leading to feelings of loneliness and worry.
