The chances of being able to catch a ferry to travel between Scotland and France are looking very likely after the UK Government announced funding for a new Customs and Border post in Rosyth.
It’s been almost a decade since the last ferry service taking cars, passengers, and freight from Scotland to Europe came to an end.
Forth Ports and ship operator DFDS now need to finalise a deal to run the route from Fife to Dunkirk in France.
