Scotland’s largest offshore windfarm begins producing energy

The £3 billion 'Seagreen Project', owned by SSE and Total Energies, lies 17 miles off Arbroath.

Scotland’s biggest offshore windfarm has started generating power off the Angus coast.

It’s hoped the 114 turbine development will be finished next year and tackle the rising cost of household bills.
