Community leaders and steam railway enthusiasts say they're delighted

Scotland’s last automatic railway crossing without barriers has been replaced.

The safety upgrade at Dalfaber Level Crossing in Aviemore follows a number of serious accidents in recent years.

New footways have also been built as part of the million pound upgrade.
