Scottish actress calls for more support and understanding of Tourette’s

Andrea Bisset, who starred in Bafta-nominated film I Swear, says it has been 'freeing' to finally feel accepted after years living with Tourette's.

Andrea Bisset, who was in the award-winning film I Swear, is calling for more educational support and understanding for young people with Tourette’s Syndrome.

The Scottish actress, who waited ten years for a diagnosis, went viral after her driving instructor shared her driving lessons online, which led to a part in the award-winning film.

Tourette’s syndrome is a neurological condition characterised by involuntary movements and sounds known as tics, with symptoms usually beginning in childhood.
