Wool made in Scotland has joined Scottish salmon and Scotch whisky to become the latest product to become protected by its very own trademark.
Products entirely made with Scottish produce will now sport a “crook label” to show its providence.
The price of wool has soared by 70% since the last year, as demand for the product grows, providing a welcome boost for farmers who say more still could be done.
