ScotWind cash will not be used to balance budget, says FM

The money was originally earmarked for supporting the energy sector and tackling climate issues.

The First Minister says he’ll do all he can to avoid money gained through ScotWind being used to balance the Scottish budget.

The Scottish Government has faced a wave of criticism from opponents, climate campaigners and unions for taking more than £450 million from the energy fund.
