Police confirmed searches are continuing for a woman who was within the building when the fire took hold on Thursday morning.
A woman is missing and a man remains in hospital after a fire broke out at a house in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were called to the blaze near Harbour Road in Gardenstown shortly before 5am on Thursday.
Four fire engines were sent to the scene.
