Secondary pupils prepare as exam season to begin

130,000 students will sit National 5s, Highers and Advanced Highers

It’s that nerve-wracking time of year again for Scotland’s pupils as exams start on Monday.

The Education Secretary met staff and pupils at Edinburgh’s Royal High school – where she herself previously taught, defending her plans to rebuild and reshape how education is delivered.
