Six month rent freeze and eviction ban passed by MSPs

The measures have been welcomed by tenants, but landlords say it will not allow them to cover rising bills

MSPs have passed legislation which will freeze rents and ban evictions for at least 6 months.

The new law contains some exceptions where a landlord faces some increased costs.
