Mountain rescuers are urging skiers and climbers to take extra care if they are exploring off-piste snow areas, as temperatures continue to climb over the coming days.
Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team’s leader says people going to more challenging parts of the hills should ideally bring a level of experience with them.
The mountain range has a dedicated ski area, but with snow lasting longer into this spring, many are drawn to explore off the beaten path.
