Starmer facing growing anger over WASPI compensation denial

The Prime Minister is facing growing anger from pensioners, and his own party, over the UK Government’s decision not to award compensation to the WASPI women.

The decision has been criticised by the Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar, but Sir Keir Starmer has insisted there isn’t the money to compensate women who lost out when the state pension age changed.
