Two minutes silence held to mark Armistice Day

Some were left disappointed after a ceremony in Edinburgh was called off due to high winds

The nation fell silent this morning to remember those who lost their lives in conflict.

A two minute’s silence was held across the country to mark Armistice Day, with the public also being urged to remember the current war in Ukraine.
