Fireworks have been removed from sale from several major supermarkets in Dundee after a night of violent disorder that left one police officer injured.
Riot police were deployed to the Kirkton area as as groups of youths set fires, blocked roads and damaged vehicles and property.
The Dundee City Council Leader says the disturbances left him disgusted. Extra officers will be on patrol in the Kirkton area tonight.
