For decades politicians in Scotland have been pledging to tackle child poverty – but now there’s a warning targets for reducing it will be missed by a large margin.
A report for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation is warning one in four children remains in poverty – the numbers much the same as at the time of the last Holyrood election.
The charity is calling on all parties standing for parliament next year to do more.
