Wild salmon are returning to the upper parts of a Perthshire river for the first time since the 1950s.
The Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board revealed the findings at the River Garry ahead of the first day of the new fishing season on the Tay.
Broadcaster Paul Murton had the honour of casting the first line.
