Workers write letter to FM after factory employing disabled people to close

Once a bustling factory floor these days, Haven's sewing stations lie empty.

Workers have taken the fight to save their jobs straight to the First Minister.

Haven Products, in Larbert, employs around 60 disabled people to manufacture garments for the NHS and digitise documents for the Scottish Government.

But this contract has now ended, with no renewal in sight.

Haven’s workers have written a letter urging John Swinney, who opened the factory nine years ago, to step in.
