A group of retired aviation enthusiasts who have spent 20 years recreating a First World War plane may lose it due to a lack of funds.
Volunteers from Aviation Preservation Society Scotland have nearly completed work on a World War I Sopwith Strutter biplane. The vintage aircraft has been painstakingly built from scratch and is now nearly ready to take to the skies.
However, a lack of space to house the aircraft means that the group may have to reluctantly sell the biplane or move it to an English base.
