Otter pups named after three Scottish rivers

Three otter pups born at Edinburgh Zoo in January have been named Garry, Clyde and Eden.

Three Asian small-clawed otter pups born at Edinburgh Zoo have been named following a public vote.

The youngsters recently received their first health check, where it was confirmed they are two boys and a girl.

Keepers drew up a shortlist of names for the January arrivals which were put to a public vote on the zoo’s Facebook page.

The adorable pups have now been named after three Scottish rivers: Garry, Clyde and Eden.

To celebrate, the zoo released footage of the otters enjoying their home.
