Adorable footage has been shared of penguins enjoying a bubble party at Edinburgh Zoo to mark Penguin Awareness Day.
The clip shows the zoo’s popular 130-strong colony playing with a bubble machine.
The penguin pool at the Edinburgh Zoo is the largest in Europe.
There are currently 18 different known species of penguin and some of them have been on the planet for more 65m years.
However, numbers around the world are dwindling and the population is shrinking at an alarming rate.
Penguin Awareness Day is aimed to bring international focus on the conservation of penguin habitats.
