The Red Arrows fleet performed a colourful – and noisy – flyover above Edinburgh on Monday.
The display marked VJ Day after the original plan was called off due to bad weather.
VJ Day saw the end of the conflict in Asia and brought the Second World War to a close.
Onlookers, including airline worker Mikey Inglis, shared stunning footage of the jets on social media as they flew over the Royal Mile shortly after 7pm.
