Six-year-old cheers up neighbours with street dance lessons

Macey Anderson has been leading "social dis-dancing" everyday in Pittenweem since the beginning of lockdown.

A six-year-old has been lifting spirits in her neighbourhood by organising dance lessons on her street.

Arlene Anderson said her daughter Macey has been leading “social dis-dancing” everyday in Pittenweem, Fife where she lives with her family.

Her mum said: “She performs four routines in the middle of the street for the participants to copy.

“Each Sunday they also come up with a fancy dress theme such as VE Day.”

Arlene also said Macey’s popular classes have dancers aged between three and 85.

The youngster has not only brightened up her neighbours’ days but her mum says she is keeping herself busy and entertained during the coronavirus pandemic.
