SNP’s Ian Blackford slams PM for playing with his phone

Boris Johnson was studying his mobile rather than listening to the SNP's response to the Queen's Speech.

Boris Johnson has been criticised for “playing with his phone” rather than listening to the demands of the SNP for the power to hold indyref2.

The Prime Minister could be seen studying his mobile as SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford gave his party’s response to the Queen’s Speech.

He chastised Johnson, saying: “Can I say to the Prime Minister, it is not a good look to see him playing with his phone rather than listening to the demands of the Scottish National Party.”

“Well say something more interesting,” the PM replied, who hurriedly put his phone back in his pocket.
