The STV Children’s Appeal has launched a new campaign to help families who are struggling to make ends meet during the coronavirus pandemic.
Lorraine Kelly, STV Children Appeal ambassador, has urged the public to give what they can.
She told STV News: “I know that the people of Scotland will be amazing.
“They always, always, dig deep and give as much as they possibly can.”
She added: “It really is a way for us to help others who are not as fortunate.”
Recent figures showed that one in four children across Scotland are living in poverty.
Over the past nine years the Appeal has raised over £21 million. This has been used to make 1344 big and small awards for projects across all 32 local authority areas in Scotland,
